First encounter recorded

This is video evidence that I’m having interactions with a creature that can do things that no other animal in Georgia can do. This is what I believe to be a Sasquatch throwing a rock. It’s very obvious.

After changing up my camera setup I finally got some Sasquatch activity recorded down at the sitting spot. I had 3 nights of activity in a row. Which has never happened before. The Sasquatch threw one object that was in the air for approximately 8 seconds. It was a mind blowing realization.

More Evidence

The final phase of what I consider my “training years” involved speaking directly with other researchers and eventually joining them in the field. My primary objective was simple: determine for myself whether these creatures were real—and whether they were responsible for the activity occurring on my property.Over time, I experienced several eye-opening interactions, culminating in my own Class A sighting on my property. At that point, there was no longer any doubt. These creatures were real—and that realization was only the beginning.In 2021, I joined forces with other researchers I had met along the way, and together we formed our own research group: The Sasquatch Encounter Brigade. Many of us come from military and first responder backgrounds, though that has never been a requirement. What we value most are honesty, skepticism, and experience in the outdoors.

Only a few months after forming the team, we were contacted by a witness from East Georgia whose account was extremely compelling. One of our team members was already familiar with the area. It is a remote, rural property approximately 45 minutes outside of Augusta, Georgia. The land consisted of expansive farmland and dense woods stretching for miles. Notably, the property had remained in the same family since before America was officially established. On paper, it was exactly what we were looking for.By our third trip to the property, we had collected physical evidence, experienced vocalizations, rock throwing, and perimeter activity at our camp, and three team members—including myself—had two Class A sightings. We had demonstrated that we could start with a single sighting report, analyze a location, gather evidence, and ultimately observe the creatures themselves. The process was life-changing.

My name is Jonny, and I am the founder of the Georgia Sasquatch Encounter Report.My personal interest in Sasquatch—often referred to as Bigfoot—began in 2017 after a series of encounters on and around my own property. What started as confusion quickly became a driving passion. At the time, I knew very little about the subject and had to begin from the ground up in an effort to understand the unexplained activity unfolding in the woods surrounding my home.For nearly three years, I immersed myself in research. My days were filled with countless hours of podcasts, interviews, documentaries, and firsthand witness reports. I absorbed every credible source of information I could find.

One of my sightings occurred in broad daylight from approximately 50 feet away, with a completely unobstructed view. After that, there was no turning back.From that point forward, my goal expanded: to provide evidence not just for myself, but for the general public. My motivations have become multifaceted over the years—driven by a deep-seated fascination with these beings, a desire to provide vindication for thousands of witnesses across the United States, and a growing distain for the institutions that have hidden the reality of their existence. The nature of our reality is not theirs to hide.Over the years, I have had many extraordinary interactions. One of the unexpected rewards of pursuing this mystery is that the pursuit itself becomes the reward. I truly believe that my involvement in this field has helped me become a more thoughtful, outgoing , and well-rounded member of society.On this website, you will find links to our YouTube channel, The Sasquatch Encounter Brigade, where the majority of our video evidence is published. This includes footage from our research area in East Georgia as well as extensive documentation from my own property in West Georgia. I also have a podcast that I host with a researcher from Florida. Sasquatch Unredacted is the name of the podcast and YouTube channel.The progress made on my property has exceeded anything I thought possible. For the first five years, activity followed a consistent pattern: the creatures would approach the perimeter of my fence line, vocalize, throw objects, break sticks, or perform wood knocks. Direct interactions while I was in the woods were rare. That changed in 2023.Since then, I have documented interactions far beyond what I previously believed was possible. My approach is to engage, document, and analyze interactions while searching for meaningful patterns that may ultimately lead to undeniable evidence.There are several reasons this website exists. First, to share the evidence we have gathered—both as a group and individually. More importantly, the Georgia Sasquatch Encounter Report exists to connect witnesses with researchers, and researchers with witnesses. We are interested in learning about all Sasquatch sightings across the state of Georgia and aim to compile these reports into a database that will help guide future field investigations.Just as important, we want to provide a place where people can share their experiences without fear of ridicule or criticism. We believe Sasquatch research is a team effort. I’ve grown very close to several of the people I have met through the topic of Sasquatch. Those friendships are built on trust and integrity.
